Here are the profiles of the incredible ‘sheroines’ we have had the privilege to interview
Jasmine Ser is a Singapore national shooter and two-time Olympian. After picking up the sport as a Co-Curricular Activity in school at the age of 13, she has gone on to participate in many competitions both locally and internationally. Since then, she has won multiple awards and medals, and has become one of the most accomplished professional athletes in Singapore.
Joanna See Too is driven by an unwavering passion and has dedicated her entire life to the art of Chinese opera.
June Chua co-founded The T Project, a shelter for homeless transgenders in Singapore together with her late sister.
Jainah is a senior volunteer in Marsiling who goes far and beyond for her neighbours. Despite living on government assistance, she still finds the time and energy to whip up delicious food for her fellow residents every Friday.
Janelle Kam is a professional cellist and the founder of da ka:po Late Starters Orchestra. Through the orchestra, she hopes to provide adult beginners with a safe space to learn how to play music.
Jen Macapagal is the founder of Race2Share. With Race2Share, she hopes to reach out to the community by combining sports and outreach to help raise awareness for underrepresented organisations in both the Philippines and Singapore.
LTC Joanne Lee is the Senior Assistant Director of the HazMat Department at the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), where she oversees the development of SCDF’s HazMat capabilities.
LTC Janice Oh is the Senior Assistant Director of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department at the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), where she oversees the ambulance fleet and its daily operations, as well as the implementation of EMS policies nationwide.
