Young breast cancer survivor empowers others with her story | Tracy Hoo | WomenTalk
Tracy Hoo was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 29, when she was supposed to be at the prime of her life. The diagnosis was a devastating blow to her, but with the support of her loved ones, she quickly picked herself up and embarked on the arduous journey towards recovery. Now that she’s cancer-free, Tracy devotes much of her time and effort to reaching out to young women at the Breast Cancer Foundation. Through her sharing, she hopes to correct the misconceptions that people have about breast cancer, and empower young survivors like herself to lead their lives to the fullest.
