Brave activist starts shelter to help other rape survivors and victims of abuse
Haslinah Yacob, a rape survivor didn’t allow her perpetrator to dictate her destiny and refused to be victimized. Instead, she chose to rise above and founded a shelter that helps rape survivors. She’s an activist and is the President of the Women For Equality Association in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
