“So empowerment to me, it’s really having confidence in my abilities. I have enough resources in myself, and I think I can set my heart to do whatever I want, and I can do it.”

We sat down one afternoon with the Country Director of Facebook Singapore, Sandhya Devanathan for the second episode of our WomenTalk-STEM series in partnership with the Singapore Committee for UN Women. Sandhya was born in small town India and always had a strong interest in engineering and math. She hopes to encourage more women to step out of their comfort zones and to be ambitious in pursuing what they really love. Through her work at Facebook, Sandhya actively champions the idea of inclusivity and seeks to give voice to diverse grousp of people.
