Sophie Soon

For our very first episode in the WomenTalk-SG Cares series, we spoke with Sophie Soon, an aspiring young swimmer with huge dreams to represent Singapore at the Paralympics. Besides having a strong passion for swimming and being on the national team, Sophie is also an extremely talented violinist. She has never let any perceived limits stop her from pursuing her dreams despite being visually-impaired. Sophie has struggled with various insecurities in her life like most teenagers her age, but her decision to face them with courage and strength is truly admirable.
