Melissa Chan
What gives someone the impetus to draw strength from their personal struggles in life to make a difference in the world? Having seen firsthand how hard it is to care for a loved one with dementia, Melissa Chan decided to set up Project We Forgot, an organisation that seeks to empower caregivers of persons with dementia by giving them access to information about caregiving that is based in the Singaporean context. Melissa and her team are also launching a new network at community.projectweforgot.com that serves as a space through which caregivers can share their experiences with each other. In this episode, she also addresses two questions from our viewer, Sumaiyah.
