Rachel Chung is a survivor of domestic violence and an activist who started Women Against Violence, a social enterprise to help sufferers of domestic abuse. She met her husband when she was 19 and was tormented by him for 8 years during their marriage. When Rachel finally found the courage to leave her husband together with her children, she felt liberated and focused more on herself by going for workshops on emotional healing and starting journalling.
Today, Rachel is engaged in building Women Against Violence and also producing a documentary film on abused women. She has also received a scholarship from NTUC to do a journalism degree.
