Lai Yi Xuan started learning the violin when she was 6 and spends 4-5 hours each day practicing. When she was a child, her parents often took her to watch classical concerts and she was captivated by a violin solo which made her want to pursue her journey in music.
Lai Yi Xuan was a student of Raffles Institution (JC) and was offered a full scholarship before graduating from RI to pursue music studies at the NUS Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.
